Rick and Morty Season 7 is coming soon. A new teaser for the upcoming season has just been dropped and it promises that we'll be getting more episodes later this year. In addition to that, the teaser offers a glimpse at Rick vs Rick vs Ricks!
The new teaser for Rick and Morty Season 7 was shared on the animated show's official X (formerly Twitter) page. It features the song Bullet with Butterfly Wings by Smashing Pumpkins and opens with a young Rick Sanchez meeting Rick Prime. From there, things get truly interesting as more Ricks arrive and you never know what will happen next.
It's an awesome teaser that confirms Rick and Morty Season 7 is coming to Adult Swim later this year. The teaser is just a taste of what could be the official trailer for the seventh season which could come with the official announcement of the show's comeback. This means we could be getting a trailer and release date announcement for the series very soon.
This is truly awesome news but it also doesn't share any update on what will happen now that Justin Roiland is no longer involved with the series. It is still unclear who will take over as the voice of Rick and Morty in the show. The teaser didn't offer any hints just yet but there is a possibility we will get an official announcement soon.
Back in 2022, the Orange County District Attorney’s office charged Justin Roiland with one felony count of domestic battery with corporal injury and one felony count of false imprisonment by menace, violence, fraud and/or deceit. A May 2020 complaint indicates the incident against a Jane Doe allegedly occurred in January 2020. Since then, Roiland pleaded not guilty to the charges.
For now, Rick and Morty Season 7 has not yet been given an official release date. In addition to that, the series has not yet revealed who will take over as the voice of the main characters. Nevertheless, the seventh season is already expected to premiere on Adult Swim later this fall.
