Netflix and tvN are now gearing up for their new romantic-comedy K-drama, Queen of Tears. Featuring the perfect duo of Kim Soo-hyun (It’s Okay to Not Be Okay, Crash Landing on You) and Kim Ji-won (My Liberation Notes, Descendants of the Sun), the two promise to make fans laugh and fall in love in this different kind of marriage story. To give fans a glimpse of their not-so-perfect marriage life, the streamer has dropped a new teaser, showing how Soo-hyun ugly-cries over Ji-won.

You can see the preview below:

The new Queen of Tears teaser may only be barely a minute, but it’s enough to excite viewers of Soo-hyun and Ji-won’s incredible rapport. It starts with the loved-up couple, with Ji-won promising her soon-to-be husband that he will “never shed a tear.” But after they finally exchange their vows in what is called the wedding of the century between a daughter of the richest family in Korea and an ordinary employee, everything starts to change.

Soo-hyun brings Ji-won a bouquet of flowers to her office for their wedding anniversary, only to get snubbed. “So?” she asks. As it seems like their marriage is coming to an end, Soo-Hyun can’t help but ask himself why it is hard to stay in love after getting married. From one problem to another, he starts to give up and gets a divorce. From there, a montage of scenes showing Soo-hyun crying over the pain of getting his heart broken starts to play.

Netflix also unveils two character visuals for Queen of Tears. The posters in question feature the two lead characters, Soo-hyun and Ji-won, as they play the roles of a lovely couple who may either fight to stay together or end up in a divorce.
