Atlus has finally put a date on the calendar for Persona 4 Revival. The full remake of the beloved 2008 RPG will launch February 18, 2027 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, the publisher confirmed alongside a brand-new Shadow trailer.
The date was revealed through the Shadow trailer, published on the official ATLUS West YouTube channel, which frames the remake around the story's darkest mysteries: the string of murders in the rural town of Inaba, the eerie Midnight Channel that appears on rainy nights, and the protagonist and his classmates confronting their Shadows — described as manifestations of one's other self. The trailer's pitch: awaken the power of Personas together and uncover the truth within the fog.
The February date covers PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and the Microsoft Store. Nintendo Switch 2 owners will have to wait a little longer: that version follows on May 20, 2027, according to Sega's official product page. Atlus also confirmed the game will be available day one on Xbox Game Pass, making it an immediate pickup for subscribers.
Persona 4 Revival is a ground-up remake of Persona 4, the 2008 PlayStation 2 classic that became one of the most celebrated JRPGs of its generation. The original followed Yu Narukami, a high school student who moves to the countryside town of Inaba and gets swept into a supernatural murder investigation tied to a mysterious TV world. Its mix of dungeon crawling, social simulation, and small-town atmosphere earned it a devoted following that has kept the game alive through re-releases like Persona 4 Golden.
The remake was first unveiled earlier as part of Atlus's broader push to revisit its catalog after the success of Persona 3 Reload, which brought the 2006 classic to modern platforms with a full audiovisual overhaul. While the new trailer stays focused on story rather than systems, the footage shows off the remake's modernized visuals — a complete graphical rebuild bringing Inaba and the TV world up to current-generation standards.
Notably, the trailer's description already includes a pre-order link, suggesting pre-orders are either live or imminent even though no pricing or special editions have been formally detailed yet.
With the date now set, Persona 4 Revival plants its flag in what is shaping up to be a stacked early 2027 release calendar. February 18 puts it just over four months out — and with a Switch 2 version following in May alongside day-one Game Pass availability, Atlus is making sure no platform is left behind for the long-awaited return to Inaba.
