After giving a first look at Jeon So-nee as Jeong Su-in in February, Netflix has dropped the first teaser for its upcoming K-drama, Parasyte: The Grey. A live-action adaptation of Hitoshi Iwaaki’s manga, the preview shows how the parasites take over humans and start to terrorize the world. With its major Sweet Home feels, the streamer is set to conquer the audience’s TV viewing with this new horror series once more.

You can see the preview below:

The official teaser for Parasyte: The Grey has captured viewers’ attention with its gripping story about parasites and humans. It starts with a parasite infiltrating a man’s ear, accompanied by a voiceover that reveals that they must be parasitized to survive. The teaser then escalates the tension, showcasing a man's transformation into a creature. These parasites, residing in human brains, maintain their hosts' human appearance, thoughts, and actions, heightening the threat they pose.

The narrative unfolds with the emergence of Team Grey, a courageous group that confronts these creatures head-on. Their battle occurs on a road, causing a chaotic traffic jam. The teaser also features a showdown between two creatures, showcasing their formidable power. Amid this, So-nee's character appears, and a woman comments on her ability to blend in with humans. However, when a man questions her identity, she is forced to reveal her true nature.

Netflix has also unveiled a new Parasyte: The Grey poster, featuring So-nee in a half-human, half-parasite form. Unlike the other creatures whose transformations are marked by monstrous features, So-nee's unique appearance proves she’s different.
