December 2023 is coming to an end, which means another year is about to start, and new movies and TV series will be added to Netflix this January 2024. Of course, this includes Sofia Vergara’s Griselda and the new anime series, The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse. But these are just a couple of new titles fans are about to see, so read on to know more.

After her Oscar-winning role in Everything Everywhere All at Once, Michelle Yeoh is back as the badass mother, Mama Sun, in the upcoming Asian American crime drama The Brothers Sun. Created by Brad Falchuk and Byron Wu, the series follows the story of the legendary killer Charles “Chairleg” Sun (Justin Chien), who has to protect his mother, Eileen Sun (Yeoh), and his brother, Bruce (Sam Song-li), after the death of the head of a powerful Taiwanese triad.

After dropping the first seven episodes, fans are about to see the continuation of Han So-hee and Park Seo-jun’s fight in Gyeongseong Creature Part 2. The last three episodes are expected to reveal the truth about Myeong Ja (Ji Woo) after the pre-credit revelation claims she might be a victim of the Majin.

Fans will also see a different Sofia Vergara in Griselda next month. The fan-favorite Modern Family star has undergone a massive transformation to play the role of Griselda Blanco, the Colombian business famously known as The Godmother of the Underworld, after creating one of the most profitable cartels in history.

For some reality game series, Netflix will introduce The Trust: A Game of Greed, where a group of strangers have to trust each other, but can they put their faith in one another? Compared to other reality competition shows, this one will give the contenders their prizes right from the start, and it will be up to them how they will grow their money. Their fates will be in their own hands, and no one can win or lose.

A new dystopian drama is also coming to Netflix. Titled The Kitchen, it will see the Top Boy star Kane Robinson as Izi as he travels to futuristic London, where the huge gap between the rich and the poor has become more evident. Co-directed, co-written, and produced by the Oscar-winning actor Daniel Kaluuya, the film will also introduce the newcomer Jedaiah Bannerman as Benji, who will find a family in Izi.

Anime fans also have a reason to celebrate as they will finally see the sequel to Nakaba Suzuki’s The Seven Deadly Sins. Titled The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse, Percival is about to take the scene as one of the four knights prophesied to destroy the world.
