A new K-drama is coming its way on Netflix! But compared to other K-drama series on the streamer, this will be like no other. Titled Gyeongseong Creature, this new show will feature historical drama combined with mystery. Aside from that, it will also show action-packed scenes after its new teaser, which drops at the Geeked Week virtual event, features its lead stars, Park Seo Joon and Han So Hee, seemingly fighting for their lives.
The Gyeongseong Creature preview begins in a mysterious place where numerous soldiers line up while holding their firearms and wearing gas masks. As intense music begins, Park Seo Joon appears cocking his gun and pointing it directly at the camera. He’s next seen looking emotional while seemingly fixing his gaze on someone.
The following sequence features Han So Hee running fast as she holds her weapon. She also points at someone as she’s about to burst into tears. The teaser ends with the two running away together and reveals its two-part release dates: December 22, 2023, and January 5, 2024.

What is Gyeongseong Creature about?
Directed by Jung Dong Yoon (Hot Stove League) and written by Kang Eun Kyung (Dr. Romantic, Kang Chi, The Beginning), Gyeongseong Creature follows the story of Jang Tae Sang and Yoon Chae Ok. Tae Sang is a wealthy and the most attractive man in Gyeongseong. Aside from having incredible talents in handling the most intense situations and sociability, he’s also a reliable source of information. But when he meets Chae Ok, everything is about to change.
Chae Ok, alternatively, is a famous todogun, a person who finds a missing person. At an early age, she has already learned she has to fight to survive, making her develop good skills at shooting guns, using knives, and handling machines. But after her mom went missing, she goes to Gyeongseong, where she meets Tae Sang. As the two investigate several missing persons cases, they’re about to see a terrible reality.
