Park Shin-hye is back, and this time, she will be in a strict competition against her high school classmate Park Hyung-sik in the new K-drama series Doctor Slump. Netflix has now dropped a teaser for the new show, showing the two as childhood rivals, but everything is about to change as they meet each other again as grownup adults. The teaser begins with Park Hyung-sik kneeling before Park Shin-hye to help her up when they were young. While narrating what’s happening, he even describes her as the girl he used to like back then. However, instead of getting Hyung-sik’s help, Shin-hye pulls him, causing him to tumble down while she climbs at his back to run away. As the two go on a running competition, Hyung-sik reveals he also hates Shin-hye’s guts.
The next scene features Shin-hye’s point of view as she describes Hyung-sik as the guy she wants to grab by the collar. But after being each other’s worst rival, they unexpectedly see each other, surprising them both.

What is Doctor Slump about?
Directed by Oh Hyun-jong and written by Baek Sun-woo, Doctor Slump follows the story of the high school rivals Nam Ha-neul and Yeo Jung-woo. Jung-woo always topped the class back in the day and even studied at a top medical school in the country. He became a famous plastic surgeon, but things dramatically changed after a mysterious medical accident.
Amid the darkest time in his life, he meets Ha-neul again, and she’s now an anesthesiologist. As an extremely intelligent woman whose life revolves only around work and studying, she realizes her life is sad and wants to make a change. As they meet at the lowest time of their lives, they unknowingly find comfort in one another, resulting in a blossoming romance.
