Netflix’s new survival game show, The Devil’s Plan, is taking the world by storm. With its mind-bending games that make the 12 contenders lose their wits and sanity, many have already gone home. So, who has already been eliminated?

From the great minds of Jeong Jong-Yeon, who’s also behind The Genius and The Great Escape, The Devil’s Plan sees its savvy contestants trying to outsmart each other. The group lives together in the same house and fights in a series of battles of intelligence until there’s only one left who will be crowned the victor and take home the pot money, which can be up to ₩500,000,000 (about $400,000) if they play their games right.

At the start of the game, the players are given “pieces,” which are like money that can be won or lost every round. It can also be used to buy game items, as bargaining chips, or for negotiation between players. Gamers who lose all their pieces will be eliminated, and only two players with the most pieces will remain. The winner who makes it to the last round will win The Devil’s Plan.

The series features two matches: the Main and the Prize. In the Main Match, the two losers end up in jail and aren’t allowed to join the prize match. In the Prize Match, alternatively, the players must work together for the same goal.

The First Elimination in The Devil’s Plan

With the most pieces on hand, Guillaume Patry allied with Lee Si-Won, Ha Seok-Jin, and Kim Dong-Jae to play the Main Match’s Rules Race. They used color blocks to create a cause-and-effect sentence and two dice: a normal one to roll and a special dice to trade a card. Their ability to advance would depend on the number where their dice landed. The dice could only roll to land in prison and leave if the dice showed “leave prison.” If the player ended up with the “leave prison,” the rule maker would get an escape prison card.

Their failed rules put Guillaume and his group at a disadvantage, and often landed in jail. Alternatively, the other team’s multiple players got several escape prison cards. At the end of the game, Guillaume ended up facing Dong-Jae, who won this round after escaping prison and rolling a two. Sadly, Guillaume stayed in prison.

The Second Elimination in The Devil’s Plan

The next Main Match featured the Secret Numbers game, where the players had to uncover clues to know their own and each other’s numbers so they wouldn’t be eliminated. Dong-Jae, Seok-Jin, and Si-Won led the game with the most pieces they had. However, Dong-Jae chose to work with Suh Yu-Min and Lee Hye-Seong this time, considering they were underdogs who he believed would easily trust him to gain more clues.

As it turned out to be a game of betrayal, despite seeing Dong-Jae as the enemy, Yu-Min betrayed her groupmates, eliminating Dong-Jae and Hye-Seong. In an instant, two were eliminated from The Devil’s Plan.

The Third Elimination in The Devil’s Plan

The next match was the Laying Grass game, where the player had to create the biggest territory using Tetris-like blocks. The bigger the territory, the more the pieces would be. Cho Yeon-Woo worked with Lee Si-Won, but the former quickly saw her mistakes with the strategy and holes she made.

Yeon-Woo bought a tile to secure her 5x5 territory but ended up in prison, and Ha Seok-Jin purchased a piece for his same-sized square. Others advised him to take a block from someone with a 6x6 place, but he opted for the jugular. Ultimately, he robbed Yeon-Woo’s recently purchased square to stay safe, eliminating her.
