Netflix’s popular historical drama series, The Crown, has a serious challenge coming up fast since the show has finally come to the point at which the whole series is fixed, which is Princess Diana’s death. This Netflix show is a pretty powerful one, leaving fans both shocked and at the edge of their seats by the end of each episode. If you have watched The Crown, then you know what we’re talking about!

According to Deadline, the creators of The Crown recently went to an Edinburgh TV Festival in order to honor the show. Over there, the executive producers Suzanne Mackie and Andy Harries revealed some information regarding the death of Diana and how it will be handled with great respect and care in Season 6.

Mackie stated, "The show might be big and noisy, but we're not. We're thoughtful people, and we're sensitive people. There were very careful, long conversations about how we were going to do it. The audience will judge it in the end, but I think it's been delicately, thoughtfully recreated. Elizabeth Debicki is an extraordinary actress, and she was so thoughtful and considerate. She loved Diana. There's a huge amount of respect from us all, I hope that's evident."

Season 6 of The Crown is going to be its final one and is going to consist of several tragic obstacles that need to be dealt with. Princess Diana’s death in 1977 is definitely going to be one of the biggest moments in the show, and now it also has to deal with Queen Elizabeth II’s death, which is going to be the series’ climactic event.

Andy Harries shared, "The passing of Her Majesty impacted on us all… It didn't change [the story] fundamentally, but it did change it in a sense. When you see it, I think you will know what I mean. It's a very powerful film and a very respectful episode.”

It has already been announced that The Crown will feature a special tribute episode to Queen Elizabeth II, bringing back previous actors of the show. Some of these stars are Olivia Colman and Claire Foy since the two portrayed Queen Elizabeth II during the young as well as middle-aged parts of her life.
