Aside from new TV series, movies, and documentaries, Netflix is currently setting its eyes on adapting new anime series. And the latest, the streamer is about to bring the legendary mangaka Fujiko F. Fujio’s manga, T.P Bon (Time Patrol Bon), to the small screen. The service has already dropped an official teaser to show fans what they’re about to see.

T.P Bon anime is made to honor the supposed 90th birthday of Fujio, born Hiroshi Fujimoto, the one-half of the writing duo Fujiko Fujio with the late Motoo Abiko. These two are behind another famous manga series, Doraemon. Fujimoto started using the pen name Fujiko F. Fujio in 1989 and had written several classic manga series on his own, like Mojacko, Adventures of Dobinson, and more. And now, after 35 years, T.P Bon, which was adapted into a 95-minute TV special in 1989, will return with a full-length anime series on Netflix.

The teaser trailer details the staff who made its new anime adaptation possible. Aside from featuring the two lead characters, Bon Namihiro (voiced by Akihisa Wakayama) and Ream Stream (Atsumi Tanezaki), it also reveals Masahiro Ando as the series director, with Michiru Oshima on music composition. Studio Bones produces T.P Bon.

The preview also teases its futuristic setting as Bon and Ream get transported into different places. According to reports, the new anime will be divided into two parts, exclusively released on Netflix.
