In the newly-opened official website and X (formerly Twitter) account for the upcoming Necronomico and the Cosmic Horror Show anime series, Tokyo-based development studio Cygames has announced the upcoming original TV anime set around streamers and virtual reality games. The first teaser trailer and visual were revealed for the upcoming anime, and the staff and main voice cast were also announced. The anime is scheduled to release sometime in 2025, but an exact release date hasn't been revealed yet. You can watch the first trailer for the upcoming anime below:
Studio Gokumi will produce the animation for Necronomico and the Cosmic Horror Show, with Masato Matsune (Reign of the Seven Spellblades) as the director. Makoto Uezu (KonoSuba) is in charge of the series composition, Jiro Suzuki (Revenger) is handling the original character designs, and Evan Call (Frieren: Beyond Journey's End) is producing the anime's music. TOKYO Jashin Academy is credited for the original project.
The main Japanese voice cast announced are:
Riho Sugiyama as Miko Kurono
Nana Hazumi as Kanna Kagurazaka
Manaka Iwami as Miyu Maimusaka
