The 20th anniversary of Naruto is just around the corner, and anime fans are super hyped about it. Masashi Kishimoto is the creator of the Naruto series, which has become quite popular ever since its release in 1999. A visual teaser for the upcoming anniversary anime was recently released and is sure to take fans back to Team 7’s pre-Shippuden days, making us fall in love with Naruto, Sakura, Sasuke, and Kakashi all over again.

The teaser visual offers fans a peek at the characters’ early days, reminding us of all the fun we have had with our favorite ninjas. The grand anniversary celebration will be grand, for sure, since Studio Pierrot has prepared four new episodes, making fans eager to watch the entire series.

The original Naruto manga was serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump from 1999 to 2014. It had quite an epic journey for a total of 72 Tankōbon volumes. The subsequent Naruto anime series ran from 2002 to 2007 and was followed by Naruto: Shippuden from 2007 to 2017, further adding to the world of Naruto and attracting fans.

When is the Naruto's 20th Anniversary release date?

The release of Naruto's 20th-anniversary anime was announced earlier this year, along with the news that the Boruto: Naruto Next Generations Part 2 is under production, which was previously paused for some time.

Unfortunately, the studio has been keeping the details secret regarding the Naruto 20th Anniversary anime’s storylines and characters. However, it has been confirmed that the anime special will begin airing in Japan on September 3, so fans don’t have to wait much longer now. Naruto's 20th-Anniversary anime will run for four weeks, with each new episode being released every week.
