Deku and the rest of the gang will soon return to the big screen after the anime has announced a new My Hero Academia OVA (original video animation) titled Battle of Heroes. But aside from this original episode, it also reveals a special screening for the climax of the recent My Hero Academia Season 6.
Based on the manga by Kōhei Horikoshi, My Hero Academia has spawned a media franchise with the many iterations it has seen. It has inspired numerous spinoff manga, light novels, stage plays, different merchandise and media, and even video games. Of course, it was adapted into anime, with My Hero Academia Season 7 coming, three animated films, several OVAs, and a planned fourth animated movie and live-action adaptation film. And now, a new My Hero Academia OVA is about to come.
The anime’s official website has announced the new My Hero Academia original episode, set during the winter vacation before the fifth season’s Endeavor Agency Arc, where Deku, Shoto, and Katsuki studied under the new No. 1 Pro Hero to prepare for the upcoming war, occured. It also revealed the new OVA theme, a card battle with Class 1A members.
In addition, the anime also released a key visual featuring Todoroki at the center with Katsugi at his right side and Deku at his left. The three all hold their own cards, while Ochaco, Sero, Asui, and Minoru seemingly think while they're at the bottom, looking at the male heroes above.

What is the new My Hero Academia OVA about?
The new My Hero Academia OVA will see Mirio Togata’s arrival to see the first-year class A students during the winter vacation. The young students aren’t allowed to leave the dormitory, so he brought a card game called Heroes Battle, which the support department created.
As expected, the Group A members start playing right away. However, this card game isn’t as easy as it looks, as the heroes must use their cards. So, who will win this game?
