Kiyoka and Miyo’s love story continues in My Happy Marriage Episode 12, Light in the Darkness. But after being separated by the Usuba family, something sinister happened to the so-called ruthless soldier. Now, the anime has released the new preview stills for the upcoming episode, hinting at Kiyoka’s future.
Based on the Japanese light novel series of the same name by Akumi Agitogi, the series has seen several iterations. It was adapted into manga with illustrations by Rito Kohsaka and a live-action movie and anime by Kinema Citrus. After the first season premiered in July 2023, it has released 11 episodes, and My Happy Marriage Episode 12 is about to come.
The anime’s official website has unveiled the preview stills for the upcoming episode. It features the worrying faces of Kiyoka’s sister, Hazuki, and the family’s servant, Yurie. In another snap, Kiyoka is seemingly in the forest, surrounded by a number of grotesqueries, the dangerous spirits threatening the imperial capital.
The preview also shows a frightened Miyo while walking in the dark. Lastly, something seems to surprise her, with a still focusing on her left eye, revealing a shocking look.

What will happen in My Happy Marriage Episode 12?

With Miyo’s Dream-Sight supernatural ability, she may help Kiyoka wake up in My Happy Marriage Episode 12 after being attacked by a grotesquerie that left him in a coma. Miyo promises to do anything she can and bring Kiyoka home with her. She gently closes her eyes while standing beside him and holding his hand.
Kiyoka is in a deep darkness, fighting one grotesquerie after another. He then suddenly feels inspired after feeling Miyo’s presence. However, instead of entering Kiyoka’s dream, Miyo finds herself at the Saimori family’s mansion.
