Miyo and Kiyoka’s story will continue in My Happy Marriage Season 2. The anime has officially announced the series’ renewal after the release of its first season’s final episode. Though its first outing ended on a happy note, several dangers are still looming.
Based on the light novel series written by Akumi Agitogi with illustrations by Tsukiho Tsukioka, the franchise has seen several iterations, proving its huge success. It was adapted into manga, a live-action film, a stage play, and an anime. Now, My Happy Marriage Season 2 is happening.
The anime’s official website has announced the decision to produce the series’ second season. It also unveils a key art for My Happy Marriage Season 2, featuring Miyo and Kiyoka in their kimonos. The site also proudly revealed that the series’ cumulative circulation has now exceeded 8 million copies.
“Don't miss out on the continuing ‘wata-kon’ whirlwind!!!” it said.

What may happen in My Happy Marriage Season 2?

So far, there are no words yet on what will happen in My Happy Marriage Season 2. But based on how the first season ended, it might pick up where it left off with the threats surrounding the Kudo family and Miyo herself.
After Miyo managed to enter Kiyoka’s dream and saved him from the grotesqueries, the Emperor said he had to eliminate the Kudo family for posing a great threat to them. He also feared Miyo’s Dream-Sight ability with its threat to surpass his own power, Divine Revelation.
Yaito and Okaito were then seen talking, with the latter revealing Mikado had already lost his ability and could no longer see the future. As he committed a big sin and put everyone’s lives in danger after opening the grave, she promised to have him pay for everything he did someday.
What is My Happy Marriage about?
My Happy Marriage tells the story of Miyo, who lacks supernatural abilities despite being born into a noble family. Because of that, her abusive stepmother forces her to live a life of servitude. But when she finally reaches her marrying age, she’s arranged to marry Kiyoka Kudo, known for being cold and cruel. Little did she know that this would give her a chance to live the life she has always wanted.

It remains to be seen when My Marriage Season 2 will be released. But as many want to see the continuation of Miyo and Kiyoka’s love story, fans hope it will happen soon.
