After focusing on Kim Yoo Jung’s character, SBS has dropped another set of new stills for the upcoming K-drama My Demon featuring the other lead star, Song Kang. But compared to his on-screen love interest’s transformation, the previews show the actor’s dangerous looks in their full, beautiful glory.
Despite being a demon, Song Kang looks angelic in My Demon’s first still as he wears white and sits on an office chair while staring at a bird resting on his hand. He’s next seen looking at someone unknown while out and about, with his arms crossed in front of him and wearing formal attire, complete with a black coat and white shirt.
For the last still, Song Kang looks every inch dangerous with his sharp gaze. But despite his fierce image, it can’t be denied that he still appears stunning in his all-black outfit.

What role does Song Kang play in My Demon?
Song Kang plays the role of Jung Gu Won, opposite Kim Yoo Jung’s Do Do Hee, in My Demon. Despite his good-looking appearance, he’s hiding a big secret about his personality. He’s a real demon.
He agrees to a contract marriage with the company heiress, Do Hee, but he’s about to lose his powers for a moment. Gu Won has been enjoying his eternal life while making sweet but dangerous deals with humans, who are pledging their souls to him as collateral, when he meets Do Hee. He finds people insignificant, while he reigns as an apex predator for about 200 years. However, everything’s about to change as he spends more time and gradually falls in love with a human.
Talking about My Demon, Song Kang told Naver that he was interested in the series’ romantic comedy genre. With the many projects he has done in the past, this will be the first time he will do a rom-com. Reading the script also makes him more drawn to the show and to his character.
Song Kang also discussed his role, describing Gu Won as someone who “takes pride in being perfect and lacking in anything.” But the devil himself will undergo a major change following an unexpected incident. And with this transformation, a new Gu Won is about to be revealed.
In addition, Song Kang claimed he added ad-libs to his scene to show Gu Won’s emotions better and make the character his own. “I think a little of myself came out in Jeong Gu-won,” he teased.
My Demon will be released on November 24 on SBS and can be streamed on Netflix. Surely, a lot of fans are waiting to see Song Kang on the streamer again after last year’s Forecasting Love and Weather.
