Fans are about to see a different Kim Yoo Jung in the upcoming K-drama My Demon. SBS has dropped new stills for the series, focusing on the South Korean actress this time. And as she's about to play the role of a heiress in the show, the previews feature her incredible transformation as a confident CEO.
The first My Demon still features a fierce Kim Yoo Jung as she takes on the work of a CEO for Mirae Group’s subsidiary, Mirae F&B. As a business leader herself, she looks every inch professional and respected in her white long-sleeves ensemble, adorned with a huge ribbon near the neckline. The next preview shows her sexy and fierce side, wearing a black coat and letting her long, black hair down. True to her fashion, she seems to ignore a person handing her a paper while giving them a sharp gaze.
For the last still, Kim Yoo Jung exudes great charm and confidence as she stands in front of a mic and gives a warm smile to everyone. She also looks stunning, as she seems to have attended an event for the company.

What role does Kim Yoo Jung play in My Demon?
Kim Yoo Jung plays the role of Do Do Hee in My Demon opposite Song Kang’s Jung Gu Won. She’s a heiress to the Mirae Group and works as the CEO of its subsidiary, Mirae F&B. With her status, she doesn’t trust anyone and is even cynical about love. Growing up surrounded by enemies, she learned the ways of the world early, making her a cold-hearted survivor.
Despite that, she’s skillful and knows how to get the job done. However, as she wants to prove herself while being treated as a stranger compared to the other children of Mirae Group’s chairwoman Joo Cheon Sook (Kim Hae Sook), she has been hard on herself and has become a workaholic.
Talking about her role, Kim Yoo Jung told Naver (via Soompi) that she found her character’s story, the series' other figures, and the chemistry Do Do Hee has with Jung Gu Won interesting. She also said the different roles in the K-drama were charming.
“The project’s charming points are the push and pull moments Do Do Hee and Jung Gu Won will showcase as they try not to get caught by each other,” she continued.
The former child actress also described her character as cynical and cool on the outside but lonely on the inside, living in a way that she could protect herself in every way she could. Kim Yoo Jung then reveals her favorite phrase from the series is “blessing in disguise,” and fans must watch the show to know why.
My Demon will be released on November 24 at 10 p.m. KST on SBS. It can also be streamed on Netflix. By the looks of it, viewers don’t only have to watch the new K-drama to see the reason behind the catchphrase. They also have to see Kim Yoo Jung’s great talent and why she was named one of the most in-demand child actresses in Korea when she was young.
