Mask Girl: Meet the Cast of this New Netflix K-Drama

Fans are about to see three great actresses playing one mysterious character in Mask Girl.

In a few days, Netflix will release a new epic thriller, K-drama Mask Girl. Thanks to its mysterious three main posters and trailer, the show has already caught the viewers’ interest with its intriguing story. It will also feature three different actresses to play its main character, making it even more exciting.

Based on the Naver webtoon of the same name by Mae-mi, Mask Girl tells the story of an ordinary female office worker named Kim Mo-mi. Kim has always been insecure about her looks. So, to boost her self-confidence, she wears a mask every night and live stream herself while adapting an internet personality called Mask Girl.

But despite her innocent look, something sinister hides behind her fake beauty. So, meet the cast who will portray three Kims and the other supporting characters.

The Three Stars to Play as Kim Mo-Mi

Three great actresses play the role of Kim in each distinct phase of her life as she transforms throughout the series. However, only two of them have been revealed so far.

The first is Ko Hyun-jung, known for her roles in Queen Seondeok, Daemul, and Reflection of You. She will be seen as the older Kim, who is imprisoned to serve her time for a murder case. Also known as Prisoner Number 1047, fans will learn more about her when Mask Girl finally releases.

The second is the singer-actress Nana, who plays the role of a young Kim, adapting the showgirl persona A-reum. Fans may find Nana familiar as she is part of the K-pop girl group After School and its subgroups Orange Caramel and After School Red. She also starred in The Good Wife, Justice, Oh My Ladylord, and Glitch.

 

Mask Girl’s Supporting Characters

In addition, Mask Girl has ensemble cast members who will play the supporting characters. Ahn Jae-hong joins the series as Ju Oh-nam, Kim’s co-worker who enjoys watching live streams after work. But when he realizes Mask Girl is his officemate, a big change will happen in his life.

The Glory star Yeom Hye-ran is also part of the new Netflix K-drama as Kim Kyung-ja, a mother whose life revolves around her son. But when her child goes missing, she will do everything it takes to find him. You can check the list below for other cast members:
