Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics is set to release later this year, and although Capcom hasn't yet confirmed a release date, that hasn't stopped the Japanese video game company from continuing to tease the compilation, while showcasing some of the extra content that will be included. The collection, which was announced in June, will feature seven of Capcom's iconic super-powered fighting games headlined by Marvel vs. Capcom 2: New Age of Heroes. Now, Capcom has released a new trailer, putting a spotlight on one of the games from the compilation: X-Men: Children of the Atom.

Originally released in Japan for the arcade in December 1994, X-Men: Children of the Atom was the first fighting game Capcom produced using Marvel characters. Based on the Fatal Attractions storyline from the comics, players control one of the X-Men or their enemies in their battle against the supervillain Magneto. As the trailer shows, players can use one of the 10 characters from the X-Men: Cyclops, Wolverine, Psylocke, Colossus, Storm, Iceman, Omega Red, Silver Samurai, Spiral, and a Sentinel. They battle other mutants in the game in best of three one-on-one fighting matches, before fighting Magneto and Juggernaut. The game also features features voice actors from the X-Men: Animated Series reprising their roles.
