Prior to the game’s release, players were finally offered a look at some new Peter Parker suits that will be introduced in the upcoming much-anticipated Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 game. The first PlayStation-exclusive Spider-Man video game that was released back in 2018 had fans immediately hooked to it, with them wanting even more of the action and madness.
Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales was released for PlayStation 5 in 2020. At that time, it felt like the game might be a worthy successor, but it was later revealed that Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 was swinging its way to us. The eagerly-awaited Insomniac game officially launches on October 20, with players finally getting a glimpse at what they can expect when Miles Miles and Peter Peter go up against Venom. By the looks of it, we can expect some pretty great things!
The critics were already given their own copies of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, but fans won’t know their reviews and thoughts on the game until the review embargo is lifted on October 16. However, Marvel did recently confirm that a few upcoming comic books will feature variant covers inspired by the suits that will be arriving in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2.
The five alternate covers gave us a glimpse at what five of the new Peter Parker suits will look like in the game, along with their official names. These suits were previously revealed as a part of the pre-order information for the video game, but these images are the best ones so far.

The Apunkalyptic Suit was the first suit that Marvel showed off, which has taken some inspiration from the popular Spider-Punk. This suit consists of a blue and red zip-up jacket, along with a slicked-back hairstyle that can be seen protruding out of the web-slinger’s mask.

The Stone Monkey Suit is another one of the five suits that Marvel revealed, which will be showing up in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. The suit features several shades of both red and blue all over it while also sporting some gold trim as well as a gold Spider-Man logo on the chest. Some patches of fur can also be seen on the Spider-Man’s wrists and shins.

The 25th Century Suit was designed by Anthony Francisco and was said to be a usable costume for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 gamers. This suit consists of a helmet instead of the classic Spider-Man mask and seems to have taken inspiration from Mysterio’s design in the movie and comics. Some different parts of the suit glow blue, further proving that this suit is from the future.
The Tactical Suit

Peter Parker can also wear the Tactical Suit in the highly-anticipated game, which is of gray, white, and red color. This specific suit also looks like it was taken from the future since the mask appears to be mechanical instead of the usual cloth that fans usually see Spider-Man wearing.
The Aurantia Suit

However, the Aurantia Suit is on a whole different level as compared to all of the other Peter Parker suits on this list. This suit is colored red, black, and yellow and is going to feature a different mask style since it’s divided into two separate sections. The section at the top is just like any other Spider-Man mask, but the mouth and the eye sections are entirely blacked out and nearly smooth in terms of texture. This suit has definitely won over many fans so far!
If you liked any of these epic suits and want to wear them in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, then you can do so by buying the digital deluxe edition, which costs $79.99 USD.
