Adidas has officially teamed up with Insomniac Games and Sony to launch some unique Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 sneakers and merchandise. The popular brand will be releasing the Peter Parker Advanced Suit and Symbiote-inspired shoe collection right on time for the launch of the upcoming much-anticipated Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 video game on PlayStation 5.
The intention of the soon-to-release brand-new Spider-Man collection is to capture "the moment Peter Parker’s Advanced Suit is overtaken by the Venom symbiote." The collection will include Ultraboost J and Ultra 4D sneakers, the Adizero 12.0 football cleat, some sweatshirts, and compression tights. So, this is some pretty exciting news for not only gamers but also athletes!
The shoes have the iconic Spider-Man design on them, with the colors red and white highlighted on the shoes. However, once you look a little closer, you see the black branches of the alien symbiote coming up, similar to a fire that might be spreading. This isn’t the first time that Adidas has collaborated with both the Spider-Man and Sony brands.
During the time of Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales’ launch, the company launched a unique red and black pair of Superstar shoes in the game’s honor. Where can you buy the Spider-Man 2 Adidas Sneakers?
The Spider-Man 2 sneakers will be available to buy on the same day as the game releases, that is, October 20th. They will be available through select retailers, although the Adidas website, app, and some physical stores are expected to have the entire Spider-Man 2 collection available for purchase. Some PS Plus members will also receive an email containing details regarding how to join Adidas’ adiClub, which will allow them to buy the sneakers before anyone else can.
