Star Trek is about to boldly go where Magic: The Gathering crossovers keep going. The full product lineup and pricing for Magic: The Gathering | Star Trek, the next Universes Beyond set, are now out in the open ahead of the set's launch next month, and the range runs from single boosters all the way up to collector-grade Commander decks.
Wizards of the Coast revealed the details alongside the set's debut video, laying out every product Magic players will be able to buy when the crossover arrives. The set draws its cards from across the Star Trek franchise's history on film and television since 1966, with most of its legendary creatures tied to Star Trek: The Original Series and Star Trek: The Next Generation — Captain Kirk, Spock, Captain Picard and Data among them, with starships like the Enterprise also entering the game.

Commander players get their own dedicated slice of the set. Wizards of the Coast is releasing four preconstructed Commander decks for the crossover, and the lineup leans heavily into The Next Generation:
Commander decks
Four decks, built around Jean-Luc Picard, Spock, Worf and the Borg Queen
Standard decks retail at $74.99, with Collector's Editions at $159.99
Each deck contains 100 cards, 32 of which are entirely new to Magic: The Gathering
Universes Beyond has become Magic's home for outside franchises, following sets built around The Lord of the Rings, Final Fantasy and Marvel — and Star Trek is among the biggest licenses the line has taken on yet.
That Next Generation focus in Commander means much of The Original Series material will arrive through the booster products and bundles instead, splitting the set's two anchor series across different products — Commander players get their Next Generation bridge crews out of the box, while Kirk-era cards are chased through packs.
The 32 brand-new cards in each deck also make the Commander releases more than a nostalgia purchase, since those designs cannot be opened in boosters at all. With prerelease weekend opening on November 6 and the full tabletop launch a week later, Star Trek is set to become the latest long-running franchise to make the jump into Magic's Universes Beyond line — and for once, "resistance is futile" doubles as a pricing warning.
