Yim Si-wan's murder-suspect chaebol heir is about to find himself squeezed from both sides. New stills from Love in Disguise introduce the two rival camps at the heart of the romance thriller: the cold, calculating Taegang Group dynasty circling Yim Si-wan's Yoon Yi-jun, and the warm, down-to-earth detective team backing Seol In-ah's undercover investigator Kang Jae-hee.

The drama follows Yoon Yi-jun (Yim Si-wan), an arrogant third-generation chaebol heir who becomes a murder suspect, and Kang Jae-hee (Seol In-ah), a former special forces officer who goes undercover as his personal secretary to get close enough to investigate him. The new stills, first reported by Newsen, spotlight the supporting players orbiting the two leads as the series counts down to its October 19 debut at 8:50 p.m. KST.

On the chaebol side, Choi Jin-ho plays Yoon Tae-sik, Yi-jun's father and the chairman of Taegang Group. A brilliant, calculating businessman who built the company into one of Korea's leading corporations, Tae-sik is constantly weighing which of his children should inherit the group — a succession question that keeps even his own family on edge.

His children could hardly be more different. Hong Eun-hee plays eldest daughter Yoon Mi-jin, a graceful and warmhearted peacemaker who works to hold the family together whenever conflict erupts. Park Ah-in plays second daughter Yoon Na-jung, an ambitious woman who has fought fiercely for her place in a family that has always prioritized the eldest son and daughter. Na-jung remains sharply wary of her younger brother, setting up a three-way sibling rivalry as each pursues their own desires.

In contrast, Jae-hee's detective team is built from far more grounded material. Kim In-kwon plays Park Bong-yi, the leader of the Special Investigation Team, whose personal motto is "Live a long and uneventful life." Bong-yi tries to steer clear of trouble, but he is willing to sacrifice himself for his team — and it is his approval that sends Jae-hee into her dangerous undercover assignment inside Taegang Group. He eventually joins the case himself, upending the quiet life he worked so hard to protect.

Kim Ki-bang plays Detective Jung Wan-goo, a hotheaded cop who leads with his fists and lives for a chase. Rough around the edges but dependable, he is the first to step in whenever Jae-hee is in trouble. To crack the case around Yi-jun, Wan-goo goes undercover as a cleaning employee at Taegang Group — a mission that could not be further from his usual personality.

Rounding out the team is Nam Hae-jun as Kim Seok-jin, an elite officer who graduated at the top of his class from the Korean National Police University. Cool-headed and deeply responsible, Seok-jin is a senior Jae-hee trusts implicitly — and someone she has secretly harbored feelings for a long time. Their relationship is expected to add another layer of intrigue beyond their partnership as investigators.

Billed as a "close-contact thrill romance," Love in Disguise (Korean title: My Guilty Human / 나의 유죄인간) pairs a murder-suspect heir with the special-forces investigator tailing him, while the chaebol family's succession battle runs parallel to the criminal case. The series is written by Moon Soo-jung and directed by Park Dan-hee, planned by CJ ENM Studios and produced by Pitapat Studio.

Choi Jin-ho was previously seen in Beyond Evil, while Kim Ki-bang recently appeared in First Lady — both actors bring seasoned screen presence to the ensemble surrounding Yim Si-wan and Seol In-ah.
