The physical media release of Loki is filled to the brim with special features, which also include a deleted scene highlighting Chris Hemsworth’s cameo in the Disney+ series. The director of Loki, Kate Herron, recently confirmed that the veteran of the Marvel Cinematic Universe had a secret role in the series where he played the role of Throg, also known as Frog Thor. This scene took place in Episode 5, the installment which features The Void.
The director also shared that Hemsworth “recorded” brand-new lines for his role. However, the sad part is that Throg only has an audible yell in the installment, meaning the actor did not really have any speaking lines as the character. Fans will see Frog Thor or Throg, voiced by the actor Chris Hemsworth, make an appearance during Loki’s coronation sequence. As mentioned above, this deleted scene is only included in Loki’s physical media release.

The official description of the deleted scene reads, "Mobius reviews some moments from Loki’s timeline, in which Frog Thor makes an appearance during Loki’s coronation." Considering the fact that Throg does not really have any speaking line during his appearance in the Disney+ series, it is highly likely that the character might have an important presence in this sequence.
During an interview with The Direct back in July 2021, Loki director Natalie Holt claimed that Loki’s scene when he is present in the Asgardian throne room in the trailer of Season 1 was initially supposed to be included in a deleted scene. This scene would have featured Throg beating the trickster during a TVA time loop. You can read her entire response below:
The composer later shared that this particular scene of Loki on the throne of Asgard will be featured as a part of the Throg sequence. Holt also claimed that she did not really know where the crew was with the “Frog of Thunder” sequence. We’re just glad we get to see Chris Hemsworth's deleted scene one way or another! Even though it’s not an official reunion, it might hopefully give fans the chance to see the two brothers in the Marvel series.
Loki is set to release on Disney+ this fall on October 6, 2023.
