Netflix is now preparing to release its new K-drama, Like Flowers in Sand, which will not only make fans fall in love but also inspire them never to quit their dream. The show will introduce Jang Doon-yoon as Kim Baek-doo, a former wrestling prodigy who has left his profession after losing the title of a Jangsa, a person with great physical strength. As he used to be famous, the streamer has released a new trailer that shows his heyday. You can check the preview below:

The trailer begins with Jang Dong-yoon preparing to get to the ring as people find him familiar. The next scene sees him beating his opponents one after another, though it was from the time that he was still at his peak and on TV as a famous ssireum, a traditional Korean wrestling sports, prodigy. He was even named the Youngest Son of the Cheonhajangsa, a champion of his class.

However, he’s next seen being defeated several times. As he starts to ponder what happened, the narrator reveals that he was quite a talent when he was younger but never earned the Jangsa title. “I’ll retire,” Jang Dong-yoon warns if he never gets the title again. But amid his preparations, he is already planning to take a civil servant exam.

Oh Yu-Gyeong (Lee Joo-myong) then arrives to lead a team that’s facing a crisis, and Kim Baek-doo believes she’s his childhood friend, Oh Du-sik. His friends then investigate if Yu-gyeong and Du-sik are the same person, so she later faces Baek-doo. But as he has no plans to stop, Yu-gyeong says she will teach him a lesson that may change their future.
