Fortnite has officially introduced the beloved Star Wars character Ahsoka Tano to the battle royale game. Ahsoka’s addition to the video game couldn’t have happened at a better time since the Star Wars: Ahsoka show is also currently streaming on Disney+. The whole package includes a brand-new Ahsoka skin and some cosmetic items that would perfectly go with the look.
Previously, the arrival of superpowered characters in Fortnite from the famous Marvel, Star Wars, and anime series would also bring some powers that players could easily equip. The same drill is going to be followed when it comes to Ahsoka’s introduction, and players will also be able to use those powers during their matches whether they’re buying the cosmetics or not.
The Fortnite developers Epic Games previously stated that Ahsoka would be introduced as a part of the season’s battle pass, so the character’s appearance wasn’t really a surprise. However, owing to the latest Fortnite update, we do know exactly what players have to accomplish in order to get their hands on the character’s skin.
How to unlock the Ahsoka Tano skin in Fortnite?
Fortnite introduces major crossovers either by directly dropping them into the game’s Item Shop for players to purchase, or they’re attached to the season’s battle pass either by battle pass quests or by normal progression. When it comes to Ahsoka, the game has used the Battle Pass option, and the quests are now live in Fortnite with multiple objectives. Players need to complete all of them to get their hands on the Ahsoka skin, wrap, back bling, emote, and much more.
There’s currently nothing in the Fortnite Item Shop that’s related to Ahsoka. Players will be able to see the quests in the game the next time they play if they are battle pass holders, but you can get an overview below:
However, if you’re one of those players who just want the Ahsoka skin, then you’ll be required to collect three Fulcrum Tokens in Relentless Retreat or Breakwater Bay. After doing so, you’ll be gifted with the skin. If you collect more Fulcrum Tokens from different areas, that will help you get the other two cosmetic items that are tied to the character.
What are the Ahsoka powers in Fortnite?
The addition of Star Wars characters in Fortnite means that Force powers and lightsabers will also be coming back to the game. The same goes for Ahsoka! Lightsabers are officially back in the game, and Ahsoka’s holograms have also been placed around the map in order to teach gamers Force powers, such as the ability to sprint faster and double jump, along with a move that will allow players to push things away. "When you encounter a hologram of Ahsoka Tano on the Island, speak to her and accept her offer to train you. You'll then enter a rift, and exit with a Jedi Training Lightsaber and knowledge of Force abilities! These Force abilities can only be used if you went through Ahsoka's training and are actively wielding a Jedi Training Lightsaber. Your knowledge of these abilities will last until the end of the match."
