KonoSuba: God's Blessing on This Wonderful World! Season 3 has released a new special trailer featuring the anime's main characters, including Kazuma Satou, Aqua, Megumin, and Darkness. Three additional cast members have also been announced for the highly-anticipated return of the one of the most popular isekai anime shows of all time. Studio Drive will be in charge of the animation.

The main cast are set to reprise their roles, including: Kazuma (voiced by Jun Fukushima) Megumin (Rie Takahashi), Aqua (Sora Amamiya), and Darkness (voiced by Ai Kayano). New cast members announced today include Kanon Takao as Iris, Sayuri Yahagi as Claire, and Reina Ueda as Rain. Check out the anime visuals announcing the new cast members for KonoSuba Season 3:
The anime is based on the light novel series KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on This Wonderful World! (Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo!) written written by Natsume Akatsuki and illustrated by Kurone Mishima, which was first published in 2013, and ended in 2020, after seventeen volumes were released. The series has multiple spin-offs and side stories. The first two seasons of the anime were animated by Studio DEEN, and the Megumin-centric spin-off titled KonoSuba: An Explosion on This Wonderful World! also received an anime adaptation which aired from April to June 2023.
KonoSuba also released a feature film titled KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on This Wonderful World! Movie: Legend of Crimson, which was animated by J.C. Staff and was released in 2019.

After a traffic accident, Kazuma Sato’s disappointingly brief life was supposed to be over, but he wakes up to see a beautiful girl before him. She claims to be a goddess, Aqua, and asks if he would like to go to another world and bring only one thing with him. Kazuma decides to bring the goddess herself, and they are transported to a fantasy world filled with adventure, ruled by a demon king. Now Kazuma only wants to live in peace, but Aqua wants to solve many of this world’s problems, and the demon king will only turn a blind eye for so long…
KonoSuba Season 3 is scheduled to premiere in 2024, but no specific release date has been announced yet. The first two seasons of KonoSuba: God's Blessing on This Wonderful World! and the KonoSuba: An Explosion on This Wonderful World! spin-off are now streaming on Crunchyroll.
