Kim Ji-yeon and Jang Se-hyuk are walking straight into the lion's den. Channel A has released new stills from episode 3 of Dive Into You, and they show the twin siblings facing off against a loan shark boss, played by Kim Joon-hyun, in a desperate bid to rescue Park Seo-ham's Jung Woo-jae.
The images set up a tense, high-stakes negotiation. Yoon Ha-na, currently inhabiting her twin brother Yoon Ha-ru's body, looks visibly shaken as the loan shark boss greets the siblings with a confident smile. Meanwhile Yoon Ha-ru, who is in Ha-na's body, stands utterly fearless while confronting the loan sharks. Elsewhere, Jung Woo-jae cuts a grim figure with his head hung low, suggesting the twins may have found their missing friend in worse shape than they expected.
The stills pick up the thread left hanging at the end of the second episode. The twins had learned that Jung Woo-jae was in a difficult position because of his father, and Ha-ru — stuck in Ha-na's body at the time — personally witnessed his old friend being chased by loan sharks and stepped in to save him. But even their best efforts couldn't stop the past from turning: Woo-jae quit judo and disappeared without a trace.
Undeterred, Ha-na and Ha-ru make another trip back through time to find him, and their search leads them boldly into the loan sharks' lair. The question now is what kind of clever plan the siblings have cooked up, because walking into a room full of debt collectors with nothing but nerve is a gamble — even for a pair of time travelers.
The setup is a reminder of how much Dive Into You has packed into its opening week. The fantasy romance stars Kim Ji-yeon (Bona of WJSN) as Yoon Ha-na, an A-list actress who finds herself swapping bodies with her twin brother Yoon Ha-ru (Jang Se-hyuk), a national judo gold medalist. When the pair discover an old camcorder that sends them back to their 18-year-old past, they seize the chance to prevent the death of Ha-na's first love, Jung Woo-jae (Park Seo-ham) — a former judo athlete who became Ha-na's bodyguard and who died in the opening episode while shielding her from an attacker at an awards ceremony.
The combination of time travel, a body swap, and a second-chance romance has given the drama a packed, propulsive energy that viewers have clearly responded to. According to a report by Topstar News, the series ranked No. 1 in weekly viewers on Rakuten Viki across the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, and India, topping the platform in 109 countries as of October 1. It has also held near the top of Disney+ Korea's TV chart since September 28 and reached No. 1 on Disney+ Japan on September 29. In Good Data Corporation's FUNdex report from September 29, the drama ranked seventh overall and second in both the social media and news categories.
Behind the camera, Dive Into You is written by Kim Bo-geum and Lee On and directed by So Jae-hyun, with Moon Seung-you co-starring as Son Ye-rang, Ha-na's agency representative and Ha-ru's partner. The soundtrack adds another draw: the OST lineup includes IVE's Rei in her first solo soundtrack track since debut, ATEEZ's Mingi on both production and vocals, and Kangnam.
Whether the twins' loan-shark gambit pays off or makes things worse is the episode's central tease — and given that this is a story about changing the past, every rescue attempt carries the risk of rewriting the future in ways Ha-na and Ha-ru can't predict.
Episode 3 of Dive Into You airs October 3 at 10:40 p.m. KST on Channel A. The 12-episode series also streams on Disney+ in South Korea and on Rakuten Viki in select international regions.
