The staff of Kengan Ashura Season 2 Part 2 has revealed a new trailer and key visual today, along with an August 15, 2024 release date on Netflix. LARX Entertainment is in charge of the animation, and Seiji Kishi (Yuki Yuna is a Hero: The Great Mankai Chapter) is directing the action-packed martial arts series. The visual features the anime's protagonist, Tokita "Ashura" Ohma, who joined the Kengan Annihilation Tournament under the invitation of Nogi Hideki, the Nogi Group CEO who scouted him.
The trailer highlights the the anime's brutal and intense fights, and teases the life-and-death finals of the underground martial arts tournament. The opening theme song FEEL MY PAIN by HEY-SMITH is also previewed in the video, and the ending theme is titled NANI? by Jin Dogg. Watch the new trailer for Kengan Ashura Season 2 Part 2 below:

What is Kengan Ashura about?
The Kengan Ashura anime is based on the manga of the same title written by Yabako Sandrovich and illustrated by Daromeon. The series was serialized on Shogakukan's Ura Sunday website from April 2012 to August 2018, with its chapters collected into 27 volumes. A sequel, titled Kengan Omega from the same creators, started in January 2019 and it's still ongoing.
LARX Entertainment also produced Kengan Ashura Seaosn 1, and Netflix released 24 episodes (split into two 12-episode parts) in 2019. The first part of Kengan Ashura Season 2 was released in September 2023, and the second part is set to release next month.
