The latest episode of Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 is finally out and that meant a truly bloody showdown between Yuji Itadori and the "Death Painting" vessel Choso. Not surprisingly, Episode 13 featured an exciting fight that raised the stakes for both the sorcerers and the Curse Users, but Junya Enoki says this is just the beginning. The voice actor who plays Yuji in the anime can't help but hype up the upcoming battles of the Shibuya Incident arc.
In Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Episode 13, Choso finally had his chance to go up against Itadori, whom he blames for the death of his brothers in the first season. The Death Painting vessel clearly had the upper hand since he possesses the prized Blood Manipulation Technique of the Kamo Clan but Itadori refused to give in without a fight. Despite the help of Mechamaru's advice, Itadori is somehow defeated by Choso but his victory is marred by non-existent memories suddenly flooding his mind.

It might look like things are over for Itadori but Junya Enoki says that there is so much more to look forward to in Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2.
"From here on, battle of Shibuya Incident becomes even more brutal. I want to tell you that this is where the fun begins. Even for those who have enjoyed it so far, there will be developments that will move your emotions even further, so please continue watching," Enoki said of the latest episode.
Is Yuji Itadori dead in Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2?
Although he was defeated, Yuji Itadori technically isn't out of the game just yet. Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Episode 13 concluded with a post-credits scene showing Suguru Geto's companions Nanako and Mimiko approaching Itadori's body. While we don't want to spoil anything for anime-only readers, we can tell you this might be the worst decision of their life.
The 13th episode of Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 is now available on Crunchyroll. The next episode is titled Sway ("Yoto") and is set to premiere on October 26, 2023.
