Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Episode 6 is coming later this month and there's a lot to be excited about in the first episode of the second cour. The teaser for the next episode once again features comments from Gege Akutami. In addition, we got a preview of the Shibuya Incident arc's new opening theme by King Gnu.
The preview of Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Episode 6 was dropped immediately after this week's episode concluded and it once again features comments from Gege Akutami. As the mangaka narrates, we get a glimpse at the first-year students of Tokyo Jujutsu High School who had returned briefly near the end of Episode 5.
Soon after the Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Episode 6 teaser was dropped, the anime's official Twitter account posted a preview of the new opening theme for the Shibuya Incident arc. The new song SPECIALZ is performed by King Gnu and the official music video for the opening theme will be released after the premiere of the second cour.
King Gnu is not a newcomer to the Jujutsu Kaisen universe. The band's songs Ichizu and Sakayume served as the opening and closing themes, respectively, for Jujutsu Kaisen 0. With that in mind, we can't wait to hear their new song for the Shibuya Incident arc.
The second cour of Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 will adapt the manga's Shibuya Incident arc which brings us back to the present. In the story arc, Satoru Gojo works with his students to locate the mole that allowed Mahito to infiltrate Tokyo Jujutsu High School and steal several important cursed items including Sukuna's fingers.
