Last week's episode of the Shibuya Incident arc was action-packed, thanks to the epic showdown between Ryomen Sukuna and the shikigami Mahoraga. However, it looks like Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Episode 18 feature an unexpected change of pace. The new images for this week's episode offer a glimpse at a surprisingly relaxed Kento Nanami amidst the chaos!
The first images from Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Episode 18 were shared by the anime's official X account. In addition to the shot of the smiling Nanami, there is also an interesting glimpse at Yuji Itadori and Nobara Kugisaki. Moreover, we get to see a distressed Mahito.
The image of Nanami is a stark contrast to his appearance in the previous episode. In Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Episode 17, the sorcerer appeared in the last few moments with half of his body burned away and his shirt completely torn. He appears exhausted but continues to explore Shibuya despite his situation. Hopefully, the reason behind his insistence to continue walking around will be revealed this week.
The synopsis for Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Episode 18 reads as follows:
Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Episode 18 will be directed by Shota Goshozono while Ryota Aikei will serve as Assistant Director. Series composition and screenplay are by Hiroshi Seko while Tadashi Hiramatsu and Sayaka Koiso are in charge with character design and sub character design, respectively.
