Bandai Namco recently launched a brand-new trailer for the popular Jujutsu Kaisen Cursed Clash fighting game (Jujutsu Kaisen Senka Sōran) on Friday. The game is based on Gege Akutami’s famous Jujutsu Kaisen manga and is a 2v2 fighting game. The trailer not only showcased the game’s gameplay, different game modes, and playable characters, but it also announced its digital pre-orders on Nintendo Switch.
The trailer kicks off with Megumi Fushiguro fighting against different villains when the scene suddenly changes to Yuji Itadori battling his enemies. We then see Nobara Kugisaki stab her enemy in the stomach, and then we finally get a peek at Satoru Gojo, getting ready to eliminate the enemy standing in front of him. We get a look at the Jujutsu Kaisen characters doing what they do best, i.e., fight. You can watch the trailer below:
What is Jujutsu Kaisen Cursed Clash about?
Jujutsu Kaisen Cursed Clash’s story mode includes a few scenes from Jujutsu Kaisen 0, the Curse Womb Must Die and The Origin of Blind Obedience arcs. The video game is set to receive a Deluxe Digital Edition that consists of DLC for content that’s taken from the Hidden Inventory/Premature Death arc, as well as the Jujusta 2024 Baseball minigame.
Moreover, the Digital Ultimate Edition is going to feature a soundtrack, digital artbook, and some outfits from Jujutsu Kaisen anime’s first ending theme song. Lastly, we have the Physical Collector’s Edition, which includes an exclusive 12x22 wall scroll that features art by the popular series creator Akutami, and this particular edition is only going to be available at the online store of Bandai Namco Entertainment.
The developer behind Jujutsu Kaisen Cursed Clash is Byking Inc. Some of the playable characters in the game are Megumi Fushiguro, Panda, Yuji Itadori, Maki Zen'in, Nobara Kugisaki, Satoru Gojo, Ryomen Sukuna, Jogo, Toge Inumaki, Hanami, and Aoi Todo. Akutami released the Jujutsu Kaisen manga in March 2018 in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine. The anime officially launched in October 2020 and consisted of 24 episodes, whereas the Jujutsu Kaisen 0 anime movie premiered in December 2021 in Japan. The anime’s Season 2 officially launched on July 6, with Crunchyroll streaming the anime as it airs in Japan.
Jujutsu Kaisen Season 1 and Season 2’s Episode 1 can be streamed online on Crunchyroll. The second season is going to air for two cours, i.e., two quarters of a year.
