We already know that James Gunn enjoys working with the same actors over and over again. For instance, Michael Rooker has appeared in almost every film the director has ever worked on. So is it possible that other Guardians of the Galaxy stars will be making the big move to DCU? Gunn has just teased at the possibility that two Marvel Cinematic Universe actors will show up in an upcoming DC Universe project.

James Gunn has always been active all over social media and he's been responding to fan posts on Threads. One fan admitted that they are hoping Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 stars Chris Pratt or Pom Klementieff will make an appearance in the second season of Peacemaker. They also specified that both stars should play themselves in the Max series.

Interestingly, Gunn had an unexpected response to the post. "There are reasons I wouldn’t want either of those actors to play themselves in the DCU!" he wrote in the comments.

It's a mysterious tease considering that Gunn is known for regularly working with numerous actors. Although he didn't specify which DCU project he is planning to cast Pratt or Klementieff in, it's safe to say we'll be seeing them in more DC projects in the future.

Will Chris Pratt join The DCU?

But who could Chris Pratt play in the DCU? Some believe he is the perfect actor to play a funny superhero like Booster Gold. Meanwhile, Pom Klementieff would be an excellent choice for someone like Mercy Graves. Still, there are a lot of other options for both stars because of their versatility. In the meantime, the casting has not yet been revealed so anything could happen at this point.
