A new isekai anime is about to hit the small screen, and it’s coming very soon. Titled Pioneer Log of the Storied Hot Springs "Alternate World's Springs": The Reincarnation Destination of an Onsen Fan (Who's Around 40) Was a Relaxing Hot Spring Paradise, also known as Isekai Onsen Paradise, Yoshizo Yukawa’s story and his love for hot springs will be finally told on TV. So, to learn more about this new series, the anime has released its latest trailer to reveal its official cast and opening theme.
The preview begins with Mayudama on a hot spring as Yoshizo enjoys the streamy water behind her while the opening theme, Baby Love! Baby Please by GuilDrops, plays in the background. A glimpse of the elven girl, Ririumu, holding her magical wand is then revealed. The trailer also introduces Ririumu’s big sister, Ohendeku, followed by the ruler of the alternate world, Ruirui, and her assistant, Komachi.

What is Isekai Onsen Paradise about?
Isekai Onsen Paradise follows the story of Yoshizo Yukawa, an avid fan of hot springs, who uses these hidden springs to strengthen the local area’s economy. However, he dies after falling off a cliff and is sent to an alternate world with the help of a goddess living in the rocks. But this doesn’t stop Yoshizo from continuing what he loves to do and resumes looking for hot springs with Mayudama, though in a different world this time.

The story centers around Yoshizo Yukawa, a major hot spring fan who finds hidden springs to revitalize the economy of the local area. However, he dies after falling off a cliff and is transported to an alternate world, thanks to an inari deity of harvest at a small shrine nestled in the rocks. Together with the inari's attendant princess Mayudama, he continues searching for storied hot springs, only this time in the alternate world. Along the way, he ends up naked in hot springs with furry-eared girls and elven girls.
The anime is based on the light novel of the same name written by Konao Menrui and illustrated by Yoshitake. It started its serialization on Hobby Japan's user-generated novel website Novel Up Plus in September 2019 and was later published under the HJ Novels imprint in August 2021, collecting three volumes. It was then adapted into manga with art by Masahito Sasaki and has been serialized on Hobby Japan's Comic Fire website since November 2021. It has collected two tankobon volumes. BloomZ and Wolfsbane adapted its short-form anime, premiering in January 2024.
Isekai Onsen Paradise is scheduled to premiere on Tokyo MX in Japan on January 11 at 25:00 JST (effectively January 12 at 1:00 AM JST). It will be available to stream on d Anime Store, while its uncensored “steamless version” will be seen on AnimeFesta.
