Netflix has released new character visuals for its upcoming K-drama, Gyeongseong Creature. Aside from Park Seo-joon and Han So-hee, the streamer has unveiled the other characters fans are about to see in the series, like Kim Hae-sook, Park Ji-hwan, and Jo Han-chul, among others. But if there’s one thing in common that these posters have, they are all splatted with blood everywhere.
The first Gyeongseong Creature visual shows Park Seo-joon, who plays the role of Jang Tae-sang. He looks confident while holding his drink and sitting at his table. He is the owner of Geumokdang, the best pawnshop in Gyeongseong. The next one shows Han So-hee, who will be seen as Yoon Chae-ok, famous for being an expert in finding missing people. Looking ragged, she sits on a motorcycle while giving a faint smile as she looks for her mom.
The third poster features the Geumokdang staff members, led by Mrs. Na Wo (Kim Hae-sook) and Gu Gap-pyeong (Park Ji-hwan), showing their brightest smiles in front of Geumokdang. This proves their friendly attitude and family-like relationship with the owner, Jang Tae-sang. But compared to the two, Yoon Jung-won (Jo Han-chul), Yoon Chae-ok’s father, looks sad as he has been looking for his wife, who has been missing for the past 10 years.
Set against the backdrop of Oneseong Hospital, the fourth poster shows Lieutenant General Kato (Choi Young-joon), Yukiko Maeda (Claudia Kim), and Ichiro (Hyun Bong-sik) with mysterious smiles on their faces. This adds to the mystery surrounding the hospital, as the blood stains hint at their fight for survival.
What is Gyeongseong Creature about?
Gyeongseong Creature follows the story of Jang Tae-sang and Yoon Chae-ok. Tae-sang is a wealthy and attractive man in Gyeongseong. He’s known for being a reliable source of information and has an incredible talent for quickly reacting to situations, having a keen insight, and being sociable. But when she meets Chae-ok, he will end up reevaluating his priorities.
Alternatively, Chae-ok is a famous todogun, a person who finds missing people. She learns life isn’t easy at an early age while traveling to different countries with her father. The life trials make her learn how to use guns, knives, and machines. But as her mom has been missing for a decade, she goes to Gyeongseong to make a deal with Tae-sang and start investigating the reason behind the mysterious disappearance of people. From there, they’re about to see a “terrible reality.”
