Netflix is probably gearing up for the release of Gyeongseong Creature Part 2 after its first part, composed of seven episodes, successfully ranked third on the streamer’s top 10 non-English TV series. To excite fans of the last three episodes, the service has released a new set of preview stills featuring the supporting cast members, making the series much more intense.
The new Gyeongseong Creature Part 2 preview starts with Gu Gap-pyeong (Park Ji-hwan) as the House of Golden Treasure is back in operation again. Yukiko Maeda (Soo Hyun) is seen in her full, beautiful glory as she seems ready to continue her vengeance. There’s also a still of Beom-o (Ahn Ji-ho) at the pawnshop, followed by Colonel Kato (Choi Young-joon) holding his vial of serum, seemingly still thinking of who unluckily drank the cursed liquid with a minuscule worm.
Director Ichiro is once again in front of the cells, appearing to be terrorizing the prisoners. The preview also features Commissioner Ishikawa (Kim Do-hyun) in his office, holding a piece of paper that seems to hold important information. The next still sees his mistress, Myeong-ja (Ji-woo), looking at her lover with confusing eyes. For the last still, Yoon Chae-ok’s (Han So-hee) mom, Choi Seong-sim (Kang Mal-geum), is seen, hinting at a backstory.

What to expect from Gyeongseong Creature Part 2
Gyeongseong Creature Part 2 is expected to tie all the loose ends the first part left off. Of course, this includes the fate of Jang Tae-sang (Park Seo-joon) after deciding to stay at the hospital and face First Sergeant Haneda (Lee Soon-won) and his men to let Chae-ok and others escape. It may also reveal Maeda’s relation to Seong-sim and Mrs. Nawol’s (Kim Hae-sook) connection to Tae-sang’s mother.
In addition, as the first part’s final episode hints that Myeong-ja has drunk the serum, it seems to tease that she may soon turn into a monstrous creature. Also, it may reveal what will be Chae-ok and her dad’s next move now that they know what happened to Seong-sim.
