Fans’ favorite group of goblin slayers will soon return to the small screens. The silver-ranked Adventurer, Priestess, High Elf Archer, Lizard Priest, Miner Master, Cow Girl, and Receptionist are set to be back to continue their mission to eradicate all the goblins in Goblin Slayer Season 2. And by the looks of it, they’ll get the help of a new character, which the recently released trailer has introduced.
Goblin Slayer is a Japanese dark fantasy adventure novel written by Kumo Kagyu and illustrated by Noboru Kanntasuki. It was then adapted into a manga by Kōsuke Kuro, while Masahiro Ikeno made a second adaptation. With its interesting story and fame, it was then adapted into an anime by White Fox. And after five years following the first season’s release, Goblin Slayer Season 2 is about to come.
The anime’s official website has released the second trailer for the upcoming Goblin Slayer Season 2. Here, the Goblin Hunter seemingly looks for the evil trolls when the scene suddenly shifts to show Priestess in her full, beautiful glory. From there, a quick glimpse of the group is revealed, followed by a good look at High Elf Archer and other characters like Lizard Priest, Dwarf Shaman, Cow Girl, and Sword Maiden, among others. It also briefly shows the new character, Wizard Boy, voiced by Mariya Ise.
After seeing their solo scenes, they’re all later seen in action with the threat of the coming horde of goblins, while the opening theme Entertainment by Mi Li plays in the background. Of course, Goblin Slayer leads the fight. As the preview nears its end, everyone prepares for a big battle that is about to happen in Goblin Slayer Season 2.

Who is the new character in Goblin Slayer Season 2?
Wizard Boy is another adventurer introduced in the light novel’s Volume 6. He’s the late Wizard’s younger brother and returns to take his revenge against the goblins after his sibling’s death. The new character is known for being “quick-tempered and irreverent,” which will be seen when he shoves Priestess aside and blames her for blocking his way.
He, too, is a hard-headed boy, as he doesn’t listen to anyone’s opinion, confident that he already knows everything. Hence, he's described as a “Know Nothing Know-It-All,” and fans are about to meet him in Goblin Slayer Season 2.

Goblin Slayer follows the story of the titular character named Goblin Slayer, who comes to rescue a young Priestess after getting into the middle of a mishap after forming her first adventuring party.
