The official website for Goblin Slayer Season 2 has dropped the first preview for the anime’s second season, along with its premiere date. A new adventure awaits the silver-ranked Adventurer as he continues his goal to eradicate every goblin in the world. The trailer also introduces a new character, Wizard Boy, whom fans are about to meet.
Based on the light novel written by Kumo Kagyu and illustrated by Noboru Kannatsuki, Goblin Slayer is a dark fantasy series that follows the story of an adventurer known as Goblin Slayer. The series has become a global smash hit, spawning several spin-offs and a manga adaptation by Kousuke Kurose.
The almost two-minute trailer begins with a horde of goblins preparing to wreak havoc on the world, but of course, Goblin Slayer will never let that happen. The next scenes see the protagonist slashing and crashing every gnome he sees with the help of his trusty allies. Guild Girl, High Elf Archer, Dwarf Shaman, and Lizard Priest are all together in the action-packed fight against these annoying pixies.
The clip also gives a glimpse of Wizard Boy, another adventurer who seeks to avenge his sister, Wizard, by slaying all the goblins. Wizard Boy was introduced in the light novel’s sixth volume and is Wizard’s younger brother.

Goblin Slayer Season 2 Opening and Ending Theme Songs
In another post, the official website also unveiled the new songs for Goblin Slayer Season 2. Mili will perform the new season’s opening theme song, Entertainment. At the same time, Yuki Nakashima will take on the ending song, Kasumi no Mukō e, which is translated into English as To the Other Side of the Mist.
What is Goblin Slayer about?
Goblin Slayer follows the story of adventurers who come from different places to join the Guild to complete contracts for whatever jobs are available. An inexperienced priestess joins in, and her first adventuring party goes wrong after encountering the goblins, killing the rest of her group. Fortunately, Goblin Slayer comes in and saves her.
