After an emotional second episode, everyone will be in high spirits in Goblin Slayer Season 2 Episode 3. Priestess has proven herself a real leader after taking the party and the newly introduced character, Wizard Boy, under her wings. As she’s now on the cusp of a promotion, putting her in a new rank, the anime’s preview stills hint at a new training is about to start.

In the previous episode, the goblin hunt mission continued, but it was taken to new heights after Priestess and Goblin Slyer faced the horrors of the past. The group went to a mausoleum to find out what happened to the party who went before them. However, Wizard Boy ruined everything with his childish act, while Goblin Slayer took charge and killed the troll. It was later revealed that one of the party members at the mausoleum was Wizard Boy’s sister, who was killed in Season 1 Episode 1, explaining his eagerness to kill the trolls and making Goblin Slayer remember the same experience he had. It was also the same party Priestess was previously part of.
But things are about to change in Goblin Slayer Season 2 Episode 3. In the preview stills released by the anime’s official website, Goblin Slayer is seen in a new training ground with the Apprentice Clerk and Female Druid, followed by a happy-looking Guild Girl. The next preview shows Wizard Boy, Rhea Fighter, and Greenhorn Warrior, who’s being massaged on the head by Apprentice Clerk, while lying on the ground.
Heavy Swordsman, Spearman, and Goblin Slayer are also seen seemingly having a drink while looking serious, while solo stills of Priestess, Cow Girl, and the protagonist himself follow. You can check the preview stills below:
What will happen in Goblin Slayer Season 2 Episode 3?
Goblin Slayer Season 2 Episode 3 will see Goblin Slayer, Spearman, and Heavy Swordsman instructing the new recruits at the training ground while they’re enjoying a drink. Alternatively, the Priestess, who may also help Goblin Slayer with the training, is looking for an adventurer to form a temporary party to review for her promotion.
From here, the newcomers, like Wizard Boy, will finally learn what they must and eventually grow. Though things are looking good for them this time, something sinister is about to happen that will destroy the peaceful town.
