With only four episodes left, all eyes are on Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End as the series continuously gets intense during the second stage of the First Class Mage Exam. Frieren has proven she’s a force to be reckoned with, as even her replica is hard to defeat. So, to do so, the preview for the upcoming Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End Episode 25, titled Fatal Gap, shows the mages working together to fight one powerful enemy—Frieren’s clone.

Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End Episode 25 stills hint at how the mages will be joining forces despite the tight competition to pass the second stage of the First Class Mage Exam. It starts with Kanne and Lawine’s fight, as the latter rides the former’s back to pull her hair while Frieren and Laufen are watching from behind. The new episode will also feature another flashback, as one still shows Himmel and Eisen together with Frieren, seemingly inside a dungeon.

Frieren then faces her own clone in another still as the latter points her wand at her. A good look at Serie is then revealed against a blinding backdrop. For the last preview, Fern, Laufen, Denken, Frieren, and Methode are all together as they seem to face the same enemy.

What to Expect from Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End Episode 25

The mages have to defeat Frieren’s clone to finally go deep in the dungeon and pass the second stage of the First Class Mage Exam. However, with the great abilities that the mage possesses, which her clone also has, Denken and his group find it hard to fight her replica, causing them to retreat to ask for Frieren’s help to battle her genetic copy. Denken meets Frieren and tells her everything about her doppelganger, and the group starts formulating a strategy to bring down the clone.

You can read the synopsis below:

In order to go to the deepest part of the dungeon, which is a condition for passing the second exam, I had to defeat Freeren's clone. What are the memories that come to Freelen's mind during that time?
