As Frieren, Fern, and Stark have started their journey with Sein, it’s time for the young priest to show what he got in Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End Episode 15, titled Smells Like Trouble. The anime has released the official preview stills for the upcoming episode, showing another adventure the party has gone on. But aside from that, it also reveals Sein’s incredible power.

The first Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End Episode 15 still shows Sein crying as he joins Frieren in the forest. It’s followed by a preview of Fern and Stark sleeping together while wrapped in their respective blankets and leaning on what looks like a huge rock.

Sein then conquers the scene with a serious look on his face as he unleashes his power through his book, seemingly attacking someone. Stark is then seen holding a brown sword while a guy is looking after him and appearing to be practicing. For the last preview, Frieren and Fern enjoy having doughnuts and tea as they sit on a lavish couch.

What to expect from Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End Episode 15?

Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End Episode 15 will see Frieren and her new party at a village in the Raob hills. However, the villagers here have been put to sleep by a curse. But as Frieren knows that monks can’t be cursed, thanks to the blessings of the goddess, she will get Sein’s help. Sein has the knowledge and resistance to the curses, so he will be assessing the curse’s type and source. The four will join forces to go against this monster as they discover it's behind the curse.

You can read the synopsis below:

Freeren and his friends arrive at a village in the Raob hills, but the villagers are put to sleep by some sort of “curse.” According to Freelen, it is difficult for monks to be “cursed” due to the blessings of the goddess. Zain, who has the knowledge and resistance to “curses,” determines the type and source of the curse, and the four of them head out to exterminate the monster that is the cause.

Based on the manga of the same name written by Kanehito Yamada and illustrated by Tsukasa Abe, it started its serialization in April 2020 and has already collected 11 tankobon volumes as of September 2023.
