After Sein finally agrees to join Frieren, Fern, and Stark in the previous episode, he’s officially part of their party. But besides seeing the priest’s talent, after saving Stark from dying due to a venomous snake’s bite, Frieren’s real intention is to reunite Sein with his childhood friend, Gorilla. So, in the new stills released for the upcoming Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End Episode 14, titled Privileged of the Young, the small-town priest has started his first journey with Frieren and her party.
The Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End Episode 14 preview begins with Fern and Stark, and the two seem to be in a confrontation as the former looks angry. Sein is then seen with Fern, and they appear to be inside a place similar to the small church in the village of Alt Woods. The next still features the four on a journey, and it looks like everything isn’t sailing smoothly, as most of Frieren’s stuff is all over.
A stunning preview of Frieren is revealed as she appears ethereal while on air and looks at something below while holding her wand. For the last still, fans will witness another flashback scene as this one shows Frieren with Himmel.

What to expect from Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End Episode 14?
Frieren, Fern, and Stark have left Alt Woods with Zein to travel to the Rath region in Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End Episode 14. However, Fern and Stark get into a fight after the latter fails to prepare anything for her birthday. For starters, Fern surprised Stark for his birthday by gifting him a bracelet he chose.
So, to help the two reconcile, Sein chimes in and advises them. However, something is about to happen as Frieren talks to Sein.

Behind the scenes, Keiichiro Saito (Bocchi the Rock!) directs the series, with Tomohiro Suzuki (One Punch Man) as the scriptwriter. Reiko Nagasawa (takt op. Destiny) is also part of the anime as the character designer. Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End’s opening theme, Yuusha, is performed by YOASOBI, while the ending theme, Anytime Anywhere, is by millet.
The anime is based on Kanehito Yamada and Tsukasa Abe’s manga of the same name, first serialized in Shogakukan's Shonen magazine Weekly Shonen Sunday in April 2020. The manga has over 17 million copies in circulation as of December 2023 and 11 tankobon volumes as of September 2023. Studio Madhouse adapted the series into anime, which premiered in September 2023.
