Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End has officially been released. To celebrate the anime’s special two-hour premiere episode, it drops the non-credit full music video of its opening theme song, Yuusha, by YOASOBI. Just like the series, it stuns fans with its great animation, featuring Frieren’s colorful journey.
Based on the Japanese manga written by Kanehito Yamada and illustrated by Tsukasa Abe, Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End follows the story of Frieren as she faces immortality. As of September 2023, the manga has 10 million copies in circulation. With its growing popularity, Madhouse adapted it into anime, and the first season is now ongoing.
Right after the first episode premiere, it released the full-length music video of Yuusha, which Madhouse also produced. Of course, it features Frieren and the start of her wonderful adventure with the other three members of the Hero Party: Brave Himmel, Monk Heiter, and Warrior Eisen. The preview also features Fern and Stark traveling together as Frieren dreamingly looks out the window.

What is Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End about?
Frieren: Beyond Journey tells the story of the mage Frieren. With her fellow adventurers' help, they defeated the Demon King and finally brought peace to the world—however, they later part ways. As an elf, Frieren is almost immortal, so there’s a chance she will outlive everyone in her former party. From there, she goes on a journey to understand mortality, find her life’s fulfillment, and understand what life really means for humans around her.

When is Frieren: Beyond Journey released?
After its official release on September 29, fans can expect to see new Frieren: Beyond Journey episodes every Friday. The series is confirmed to have two consecutive cours, so fans can continuously see Frieren on the small screen until March 2024.
