The developer Psyonix has officially unveiled its latest game as well as its first game since the launch of Rocket League in 2015. When the game first came out in 2015, not a lot of people were familiar with the name Psyonix. Of course, this changed after the game’s release, as Rocket League was among some of the biggest hits of the last generation. Moreover, it also led to Fortnite developers Epic Games acquiring Psyonix.
Instead of having Psyonix launch a brand-new game or a sequel, Epic Games made it work on a racing game in Fortnite known as Rocket Racing. This game was announced earlier this week, and we officially got its first look through a trailer yesterday. Both Psyonix and Epic Games also announced earlier this week that the game would launch on December 8 as a part of Fortnite and will be a free-to-play experience. What are some other Fortnite games?
The latest Rocket Racing game from both Psyonix and Epic Games is only one of multiple Fortnite experiences that were announced some time ago and are going to be playable this week. The first of these games to be released was LEGO Fortnite, a game that’s filled with crafting, surviving elements, and, last but not least, the famous LEGO blocks that somewhat remind you of Minecraft.
This means that players will get to build anything they want, similar to the way they did in a Minecraft world, but with the help of LEGO blocks. On top of this, the entire setting of the game looks pretty similar to the environments one is usually used to seeing in Fortnite. LEGO Fortnite is officially out now, along with Rocket Racing.
The only game that’s remaining out of the trio and hasn’t been released yet is Fortnite Festival, which will come out on December 9. Rock Band developers Harmonix are behind this brand-new music game. In this game, players will be able to create new music solos or join a band with other players.
