In the past couple of years, Metaverse has really taken off and offers a world that is mixed with the virtual world, physical world, and augmented reality. Recently, Epic Games announced that it was teaming up with LEGO to bring about a metaverse that makes it safe and fun for children. Metaverse is described to be an immersive virtual space where people can experience life in ways they can’t in the physical world.
There are plenty of interactive options here, in which you can move in a common virtual space without any boundaries with the help of digital avatars. According to a statement made by Epic Games, the two companies aim to “build an immersive, creatively inspiring, and engaging digital experience for kids of all ages to enjoy together.” It seems like this collaboration is soon coming to Fortnite and will surely leave a mark or two.
Everything About The Fortnite x LEGO Collaboration
It would be a shock if a Fortnite x LEGO collaboration didn’t come up at some point since LEGO is considered to be quite a popular brand. Both the battle royale game as well as the toy manufacturing company would benefit a great deal from this collaboration. As it turns out, the upcoming collaboration will be yet another Fortnite Creative 2.0 project.

The popular Fortnite leaker GMatrixGames, recently leaked that Epic Games has been working on a collaboration with LEGO for some time now. They came across some data regarding the collaboration back in January and recently revealed some more details on it. The data miner further claimed that Epic Games is also planning to introduce a Creative 2.0 map for the Fortnite x LEGO collaboration.
Another reputable Fortnite leaker called HYPEX shared that the mode will introduce “NPCs/Bosses, Custom UI, Lego Models/World, and something called ‘Adventures.’” They further claimed that it’s highly likely that the mode will be created in UEFN by LEGO themselves in the upcoming months or years.
Fortnite x LEGO Collab Expected To Be Huge
Popular Fortnite leaker called Shiina recently leaked more files claiming that the collaboration might come to the battle royale game with patch 27.00. Usually xx.00 updates indicate an entirely new Fortnite Season, with many insiders claiming that the crossover will be so massive that it can be thought of as a new Season. Unfortunately, no designs of the virtual world have been revealed as of yet.
Fortnite x LEGO Collab Release Date
Currently, no official information regarding the mode's release date, systems, business model, or concept has been released. The Fortnite developers have been busy checking the map on test servers for a couple of months now. If everything turns out to be good, Epic Games might introduce the crossover in Fortnite in Chapter 5. All we know is that the Fortnite x LEGO collaboration will arrive on the Battle Royale Island this year.
Fortnite is available to play on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PC, Mobile, Switch, PS4, and PS5.
