Fortnite's highly-anticipated Fallout crossover has finally happened with the launch of Chapter 5 Season 3: Wrecked. Now, players can use the famous Power Armor from the acclaimed Bethesda series in the battle royale game. The Battle Pass for the new season has been revealed, and players can unlock Fallout's T-60 Power Armor.
The latest season of Fortnite launched today, May 24, and features a wasteland in the battle royale. A new biome was created in the south following a sandstorm, and it's called wasteland, and "Wasteland Warriors" have claimed the location for their own.
When players purchase the Wrecked Battle Pass, they will unlock an Outfit called The Machinist. Players can grind to level it up, so they could unlock Rust, Peabody, Ringmaster Scarr, and finally, the T-60 Power Armor at Level 54, but it doesn't end there. The Brite Raider and Megalo Don Outfits will be unlocked two levels after that.

Fallout's iconic ice-cold Nuka Cola have been has also been added to Fortnite as a consumable, and it has been scattered across the battle royale map. Players can use the Nuke Cola to restore their health and, over time, a bit of shield. An overview of the Nuka Cola item in Fortnite reads: "The wasteland is a pretty apocalyptic place... like there was some kind of falling out. Indulge yourself in these trying times with a nice cold bottle of Nuka-Cola! Restore a bit of Health, and over time, some Shield".
Beyond the Power Armor outfits, there are toher Fallout cosmetics added to the game's Battle Pass, such as a glider featuring a Brotherhood of Steel aircraft, and there's also a weapon wrap that counts your frags whenever you're aiming down the sights. Fallout's Vault Boy mascot for Vault-Tec has also been added in Fortnite's latest Battle Pass as emotes and more. There are also Fallout loading screens and sprays that can be unlocked within the Battle Pass.
Fallout is not the only IP getting a crossover with Fortnite this season. X-Men fans will be excited to know that they will be able to acquire the Wastelander Magneto Outfit from Battle Pass Quests this July.
What's new in Fortnite's wasteland?
Fortnite's wasteland will give players a bunch of things to do in it and challenges to conquer. A few new POIs will be added in the map, including Brutal Beachhead, Redline Rig, and Nitrodome. Each of these locations are run by different Wasteland Warriors that players can fight if they dare to try.
If you take down Brutal Beachhead's Megalo Don, you can get a medallion that will infuse you with infinite Nitro and Megalo Don's Nitro Fists. The Machinist of Redline Rig will drop a medallion that will recharge a your shield over time and her mythic weapon. Ringmaster Scarr of Nitrodome will drop a medallion that grants you infinite ammo and a small damage buff alongside Mythic Rimngmaster's Boom Bolt. Players can also steal their vehicles.
The island will also have Nitro Barrels and Nitro Splash that are coming from Redline Rig. Nitro Barrels will fly off when players hit them and explode on whatever it hits. Nitro Splash is a portalbe container players can throw to infuse their car or themselves with Nitro.
If you're wondering what Nitro in Fortnite does, it can increase the speeds of cars and give "explosive ramming power that deals damage and knockback," buff attached attack mods, and decrease fuel consumption. Players infused with Nitro will get movement speed buff, and it will give them ability to sprint for longer periods, reload guns at faster rate, "bust through builds", and take zero fall damage.
There will also be a War Bus that players can hijack, and it comes with an EMP pulse and two cannons, the ability to build roadblocks with a Boom Bolt, and much more. Players can also get Nitro Fits that will let them perform 3x punch combo, aerial punch, or uppercut. Each of these fists recharges every eight seconds, and they have four charges.
