Fortnite v3040, the final update of the ongoing Chapter 5 Season 3, has finally arrived, and it's bringing the much-anticipated Fortnite x Fall Guys collaboration. It's a surprisingly huge update for the popular battle royale game, and developer Epic Games has shared a list of changes, with new Fall Guys Islands which were designed by Fall Guys developer Mediatonic Labs, an obstacle course in the skies above the battle royale map, and new themed quests to complete.
Battle Royale is not the only mode getting some major changes. Players can expect new creator tools, new sets of collab skins, and more. Check out the list of major changes you can expect with the latest Fortnite update below:
Fall Guys Obstacle Courses
Players can find an obstacle course by finding one of the giant glowing Fall Guys bean statues in the battle royale map, and once they get there, their Fortnite character will transform into a beam and teleported to a new obstacle course up in the sky. You can get Fall Guys cosmetics by completing the quests associated with this, and depending on how fast you complete the map, you can get some new loot.
Fall Guys New Creator Islands
In addition to that, Mediatonic also created six new maps, showcasing the brand new Fall Guys creator tools that players will soon be able to use in EUFN. Here's a list of the island codes:

2 New Dragon Ball Fortnite Skins
New sets of collaboration skins will be released in a few weeks in Fortnite. The first set will bring two new Dragon Ball skins, set to release on August 10, and they are the iconic android duo, Android 17 and Android 18. Players can expect previously-released Dragon Ball skins such as Goku and Bulma to return to the item shop when they come out.
3 New X-Men Skins
On August 12, players will be able to get a new set of X-Men skins based on Marvel Animation's hit X-Men '97 series, featuring Cyclops, Colossus, and Jubilee. It's likely that other members of the mutant team will arrive in Fortnite at a later date.
Minigun is back in Fortnite!
In the first teaser for this Fortnite season back then, it was revealed that Battle Royale will bring back the Minigun weapon, but it's taken all the way until the final update for it to be unvaulted. The Minigun brings heavy damage and rate of fire in exchange for low accuracy and significantly limiting your movement speed. Players can find it as regular loot in the battle royale map.

Where We Fallin'
In Battle Royale, Where We Fallin' starts now. Find a golden Bean Idol, take on the floating obstacle course in the sky, and bring back loot to help you get a Victory Royale
To reach the obstacle course, you’ll need to track down one of several Bean Idols hidden in the Classy Courts area. We say they’re hidden, but they’re hard to miss. They’re tall. They’re shiny. They’re very… beany
Praise the golden Bean Idol in its shiny might and you’ll be challenged to a race against the clock as you’re transformed into a Fall Guys Bean and transported to the obstacle course in the sky!
Complete actions like running, mantling, diving, bouncing and more on this course to check off Where We Fallin’ Quests, rewarding you with Locker items like the Pink Plushie Back Bling
If you lose your footing and get knocked off the course, don’t worry! You’ll be teleported to the last checkpoint or the beginning of the course so you can continue your run
Legumes and Loot
You have three attempts to set a time per Battle Royale match, but you can only complete the course once per match
If you complete the course within the 120-second time limit, you’ll be awarded gameplay loot to help you with the rest of the match:
Complete the course in less than 50 seconds for Gold Tier loot
Complete the course between 50 and 80 seconds for Silver Tier loot
Complete the course between 80 and 120 seconds for Bronze Tier loot
Bean Bod
In the obstacle course, you’ll notice some changes to your appearance as your Fortnite Outfit morphs into a Fall Guys Bean!
How this Bean looks will depend on the Outfit you have equipped, and you’ll find bean-spoke looks for some of the most iconic Fortnite Outfits such as Brite Bomber, Fishstick and Jonesy the Secondst
Your Fall Guys Bean will return to its Fortnite version once you’re back on the Island!
Just a heads-up: If your equipped Outfit is not an original Fortnite character, your Bean will be a preset "default" Bean
And another heads-up: Costumes from Fall Guys don’t transfer over to Fortnite. The Bean look is only applied to your existing Fortnite Outfits!
