The highly-anticipated Fortnite Chapter 6 is just around the corner, and season's new Battle Pass has leaked online today. Developer Epic Games has mostly been quiet about what Fortnite Chapter 6 will feature. Instead, it has recently continued to focus on the conclusion of Chapter 2 Remix, which is currently building-up to the Juice WRLD event that will happen in the next few days. Ahead of Epic's official reveal, various leakers have shared more information about what to expect in Chapter 6, including its epic key art.
As the leaked key art revealed, the official title of Fortnite Chapter 6, Season 1 is Cacada, a Brazillian Portuguese word that roughly translates to "chase" or "hunt" in English. While this still leaves a lot of room for speculation, the leaked art photo does show a bit of the themes reflecting the new season's title.

The key art, initially shared by Resetzftw on X, reveals that it will be inspired by Japanese culture and features various original skins that are inspired by ninjas and samurais. The biggest part of this leaked art confirms that the next chapter will feature crossovers with Disney's Big Hero 6 and Godzilla. There have been rumors about Fortnite's collaboration with Godzilla in recent weeks, so this confirms what the leakers shared online. The Big Hero 6 collab will feature a skin for the animated franchise's iconic character, Baymax, in the battle royale game.
When is Fortnite Chapter 6 starting?
Fortnite Chapter 6 is scheduled to begin on Sunday, December 1, 2024. This is known because the next chapter will begin right after Fortnite Remix: The Finale concludes and its subsequent downtime ends, so the current season is expected to finish at 3am GMT on Sunday, December 1 and 10pm EST / 7pm PST on Saturday, November 30. Since recent downtimes have taken around five hours, we can expect Fortnite Chapter 6 to begin at at 8am GMT / 3am EST / 12am PST.Fortnite Chapter 6 start date.
Currently, the Fortnite Chapter 2 Remix reverts the battle royale map to how it looked back in 2019, while featuring new appearances by rap stars such as Eminem, Snoop Dogg, Ice Spice, and Juice WRLD. The original map of the game will also return as a permanent game mode on December 6, shortly after Chapter 6 launches.
