Former contractor exposed as AdiraFNInfo after leaking dozens of upcoming Fortnite crossovers and trade secrets.

Epic Games Sues Insider Fortnite Leaker for Breaching Confidentiality Credit: Epic Games

A Fortnite leaker known as AdiraFNInfo, who built a massive following by dropping spot-on collaboration scoops, was secretly an Epic Games employee the entire time—and now the company is suing him for millions in damages.

Epic Games has taken legal action against one of its own former contractors, accusing him of secretly running the major leaks account AdiraFNInfo while employed by the company and having full access to confidential collaboration details. The defendant, identified as Hayden Cohen, is accused of using his insider access to disclose sensitive information while employed by the company, violating a nondisclosure agreement and misappropriating trade secrets.

According to the court filing, Cohen signed a mutual nondisclosure agreement with Epic Games on September 11, 2025, as part of his role as an Associate Producer through a third-party staffing agency. The complaint alleges that he repeatedly broadcasted non-public details about more than a dozen unannounced Fortnite collaborations and content releases via anonymous social media accounts, causing significant damage to the company. Specifically, Epic claims this led to "harm to its partner relationships, diminished player engagement, lost profits, and costs incurred in investigating and responding to Defendant’s unauthorized disclosures." The lawsuit, filed in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina, seeks compensatory and exemplary damages, injunctive relief to prevent further disclosures, and the return or destruction of all confidential materials.

Cohen's actions reportedly began shortly after he gained access to Epic's internal systems, where he was trained on information security and data protection protocols. The leaks included specifics such as partner identities, character integrations, cosmetic items, release timings, and development updates—information that Epic guards closely to maintain player excitement and preserve partnerships. By operating under pseudonyms, Cohen allegedly built a following of thousands, with his posts reaching hundreds of thousands more through amplification, all while concealing his identity to evade accountability. Epic further asserts that these breaches were willful and malicious, done for personal gain like increasing social media influence, and have eroded trust with collaborators, potentially jeopardizing future deals.

AdiraFNInfo, Cohen's online alias, appeared in early January 2026 and revealed details on almost a dozen partnerships that later materialized, beginning with the South Park crossover. In late February, the associated accounts on X (formerly Twitter) and Discord vanished abruptly, leaving no explanation—until this lawsuit provided the first insight into Adira's whereabouts and activities.

What other Fortnite collaborations did AdiraFNInfo leak?

Beyond those confirmed collaborations, Cohen shared information on several other potential crossovers that hadn't surfaced from any other sources. These include:

  • Kingdom Hearts

  • Ben 10

  • Game of Thrones

  • Minecraft

  • Masters of the Universe

  • Peak

It's possible that we could see some of these collaborations arrive in Fortnite over the next few months, as they were in various stages of development at the time of the leaks. However, there's a chance that some could have been canceled due to the premature disclosures, which Epic argues undermine the surprise element essential to the game's appeal and strain relationships with intellectual property holders. This case highlights the challenges game developers face in protecting proprietary information in an era of rapid social media sharing, and it may set precedents for how companies handle internal breaches moving forward. As Fortnite continues to evolve with new seasons and events, Epic's legal pursuit underscores its commitment to safeguarding the integrity of its content pipeline against such violations.
